I started out with Patra's Place, primarily dedicated to my linen collection and stitching projects. But I kept getting side-tracked, so I decided to create Patra's Other Place for anything not related to embroidery topics. So you now have a choice. If you are interested in me, read this. If you only want to see my linen and stitching, visit Patra's (original) Place! (Please note that by clicking on any of the photos, they will be enlarged to fill your computer screen.)
I was married to Ken for 43 years, but he died in October 2022. So I am now alone with two cats, eight hens, and a few finches and parrots in one aviary.

Thats a nice picture of the two of them. I'm enjoying your new blog, the wildlife pictures are very interesting to us in the U.S. I'm sure.
Thanks Maggie ann. Ken doesn't know his pic is appearing on my blogs; I think he would be more than a little embarrassed! But the pic of the bird wouldn't be the same without a person supplying the arm!! We do have some great wildlife here. Most visitors to Oz love to see the birds around the suburban gardens. We also have the occasional koala and kangaroo in our suburb as well.
