Patra's Other Place

I started out with Patra's Place, primarily dedicated to my linen collection and stitching projects. But I kept getting side-tracked, so I decided to create Patra's Other Place for anything not related to embroidery topics. So you now have a choice. If you are interested in me, read this. If you only want to see my linen and stitching, visit Patra's (original) Place! (Please note that by clicking on any of the photos, they will be enlarged to fill your computer screen.)

I do NOT collect China en masse! Just a few items that appeal to me. I do love blue and white, whether it is Delft or Blue Willow. The sandwich plate on the right and the ginger jar were my stepmum's, but the other items came from opshops or ebay.

Don't you even collect crinoline lady china? A friend has just bought a complete set. Thought of you.

E.C., I collect books, stamps, linen, swapcards, old calendars...I do NOT need to start collecting china in sets!! Hubby would shoot me - well maybe not, but you know what I mean. No, as much as I like having bits and pieces, that is all I can afford, both financially and in matters of space to keep stuff.
