Gina, they've had personalised cheques for a few decades in the U.S., I had them in the 1960s. They always had such lovely designs, it was hard to choose. I banked with the Wells Fargo Bank and usually picked ones with Wild West scenes on them, all with stage coaches in them, of course.
Americans use cheques much more than Aussies do, so many even pay for their groceries that way. Yet in the U.S. you will often come across places that don't take a credit card!
Hmmmm ..... there is such a HUGE difference in languages!
I saw your post title and thought it was a XXX post! Here in the USA, we use that as slang for a ... :)
